We are now offering SAME DAY DELIVERY!

Place your order before 8am to receive your order the SAME day!

Choose from the following time slots and be sure to order before 8am to receive your order the same day! Any orders made after 8 am will be delivered, at the earliest available delivery slot, the Next Day, or any other date and time that suits you.

Monday to Friday: 10am-3pm

Saturdays: 9am-12pm


1. Please Note: Purchases from R1 to R250 do NOT qualify for delivery, it qualifies ONLY for the STORE PICKUP service. Delivery FEE for purchases over R250-599 is R35.00. Specials and Combo's MAY be excluded from the R250 total. There are NO deliveries on Sundays and Public Holidays. Deliveries are effected according to the delivery schedule and the area you reside, unless you have chosen to accept delivery at a later or previously arranged date.

2.We only deliver to registered customers within certain specified delivery areas. Orders for delivery to 'High Risk' areas will be accepted or declined at the discretion of Balmoral Supermarket. On delivery of the order to the specified delivery address, you will receive our delivery note showing the items delivered, any substitute items, any non-available items, the delivery fees, Value-Added Tax and the amount debited from your payment card.

3.For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorized to accept delivery on your behalf.

4.Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice at the delivery address to this effect. The driver will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection.

5. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required in the circumstances.

6.Our liability for failing to deliver the products timeously is limited to delivery being effected at a later agreed time at no additional charge.

7.Please arrange that you or your authorised representative is available to accept your purchases at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available.

8.On delivery, we will require you or your authorised representative to sign and print your or their name on a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt. Cash on delivery; by selecting this option, you undertake to ensure that you have cash on hand at the time of delivery

9.We cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.

10. Returns & Refunds.

Bulk Quantities of Perishables:  Purchasing bulk quantities might result in a non return policy on the same day of purchase.(i.e large quantity of cut fruit or veg, Bread, rolls)  due to nature of the goods and the demand of the store.

Returns based on donation: If at anytime a customer buys goods on behalf of someone else no refund will be given to the person receiving the goods.The recipient may exchange the goods for another product. If a refund is required the person placing the order should request the amount via email.The amount will be reversed to the corresponding bank account to which it payment has  been received. 

Perishable Goods:

 

If you are for any reason dissatisfied with any perishable goods (i.e. Fresh Produce, Milk, Bread etc.) purchased online, you may return it within 3 days of purchase for a full refund, replacement, store credit or exchange, provided you have the original tax invoice.

 

Non-Perishable Goods:

If you are for any reason dissatisfied with any non- perishable goods (i.e. Canned Goods, Detergents, Cereals etc.) purchased online, you may return it within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, replacement, store credit or exchange, provided you have the original tax invoice.

11.Cancellation. If for any reason you would like to cancel an order this may be done by contacting our store on 021 4473732. You will only be able to cancel orders until midnight on the day prior to the date of delivery. We may debit your payment card for the delivery fees in respect of any late cancellations. If you cancel your payment for any reason or if your payment card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will remain liable for the full purchase price, including all related costs. We reserve the right to cancel any sale and/or your registration in the event of a breach of any of these or the General Terms.

12.Risk and Ownership. Risk in the products shall pass to you or your authorised representative on delivery. We will retain ownership of the products until payment is received in full.
